The JNN (Jamboree News Network) presents Jamboree on the Air/Jamboree on the Internet 2015 (JOTA/JOTI 2015)
What is JOTA/JOTI?
Jamboree on the Air/Jamboree on the Internet is an official international event of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement. The purpose of JOTA-JOTI is to enable and encourage Scouts around the world to communicate with one another by means of amateur radio and the internet, providing a fun and educational Scouting experience and promoting their sense of belonging to a worldwide Scout Movement.
On the 16th-18th October this event will be running worldwide, allowing Scouts throughout the world to talk to each other over the radio and internet.
1st Murray Farm has booked a timeslot to be part of this event on Sunday the 18th of October 9-11am. Besides connecting with Scouts participating in this event worldwide, there will be other interesting communication technologies to be explored in the 2 hr session.
The cost of this session is $10 per Joey/Cub, inclusive of a JOTA/JOTI Badge and a sausage sizzle. More details are provided in the E1 attached and the Information sheet. If you are interested to attend this event please pass me the E1 and money by 22nd Sept. Thanks!
